To further enhance the emergency response capabilities of operators and effectively prevent electric shock accidents in box-type substation operations, recently, the Gansu Huining Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Project Department under the company's New Energy Business Unit organized operation and maintenance personnel to carry out a special training on electric shock first aid for box-type substations.
During the training, the emergency of sudden electric shock during box-type substation inspection was simulated on site。The top priority is to cut off the power supply quickly，Assess consciousness and breathing immediately, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately on those who have no breathing or heartbeat, and operate cyclically in accordance with the standard ratio until medical staff arrive, while reporting the situation and protecting the scene simultaneously.
Next step, the project department will continuously incorporate electric shock first aid into regular safety training, conduct emergency drills regularly in combination with operation scenarios such as box-type substations and collector lines, promote prevention through drills and enhance capabilities through drills, effectively improve all staff's level of risk prevention and emergency response, and build the first line of defense for personal safety.
