The cold wave has triggered heavy snowfall in
Xinjiang, with snow covering power station equipment and factory roads, posing
challenges to the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

The Beita Mountain Substation quickly activated its
emergency response plan for snow and ice disasters. All staff were organized
into teams equipped with brooms, shovels, and de-icing tools to conduct
thorough snow and ice removal operations across the substation's equipment
area, transmission line corridors, factory rooftops, and inspection roads.
During the operation, workers strictly followed safety protocols, implementing
fall prevention and electrical protection measures. Special attention was given
to clearing snow and ice from critical areas such as equipment terminal boxes
and circuit breaker contacts to prevent ice-induced flashover faults.

After hours of intensive efforts, all snow on the
power plant equipment and the facility grounds was cleared. The equipment now
operates with stable parameters, ensuring reliable power supply for the grid.
