To ensure stable equipment operation and uninterrupted power supply, the Gansu Hui Ning Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Project has implemented the 'Substation Monitoring System Installation and Commissioning' initiative. This project establishes a remote monitoring system for all substation equipment, strengthening the safety and operational safeguards for wind power facilities.
Wind farm substations are
predominantly located in remote areas, where each unit operates independently
in harsh environments, posing significant challenges for maintenance and
operation. These facilities endure prolonged exposure to extreme weather
conditions—including high temperatures, high humidity, lightning strikes, and
sandstorms—resulting in a high risk of equipment failure.

At the substation monitoring installation site, station personnel and construction teams completed wiring and signal debugging for the monitoring equipment of six transformers. Transformer safety serves as the "lifeline" for stable power output. The deployment of this monitoring system has significantly enhanced equipment condition awareness and risk management capabilities, establishing a robust intelligent protection framework to ensure safe and efficient power generation for wind projects while securing regional energy supply.
